Homemade Chocolate Cake in Minutes!!
Imagine those moments when you just finished a meal and now you are craving the wonderful aroma of a delicious homemade dessert. Well, I have just the answer…. Here’s a recipe for a 2-minute chocolate cake in a cup that will create that wonderful aroma you crave!!
All you need are coffee cups/ramekins, your trusty microwave oven and the following 8 ingredients:
All-purpose flour 3 Tbsp
Brown sugar 2 Tbsp
Cocoa powder 2 tsp
Baking powder ¼ tsp
*Milk 3 Tbsp
Oil 1 Tbsp
Vanilla Extract 1 drop
Chocolate chips 10 pieces (1 tsp)
* Note: if you’re vegan you can substitute almond, coconut or soya milk for dairy milk.
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, with a fork, except chocolate chips in a coffee cup or ramekin until the batter is smooth and no longer has lumps. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and cook in the microwave for 45 seconds. Let cool for 5 minutes to complete cooking. If you want to do multiple desserts, just triple, or quadruple the recipe, mix in a bowl, and divide amongst 3 or 4 coffee cups/ramekins. Note: The cakes must be cooked separately in the microwave for uniform cooking.
My family and I have enjoyed this homemade dessert many times. We are thrilled that it can be made so quickly to satisfy our cravings!!! It’s delicious and my children have fun watching the cakes cook in the microwave.
Enjoy!
